I have produced a concept for the Arctic underwater scenes and tried to pick up the green as my research suggested. I am fairly happy with this because it shows where the light would reflect in from above, giving life to a world of colour below. I have included my progression stages to depict the changes through the development process.
Hey Adam - your digital painting has come a long way in 20 weeks. This is nice and moody, and the lighting effects work well. I encourage you to simply continue refining your skills, style and technique in terms of this aspect of your creative methodology. I recommend that you make a habit of borrowing some of the Gnomon DVDs that related to digital painting/perspective etc. and just, quietly and consistently, become very good indeed!
