Tutorials from How to Draw Cartoons for Animation

I looked at the How to Draw Cartoons for Animation PDF and it had a lot of useful information on how to manipulate shapes and build up 3D shapes to form a character. I went through all the exercises related to designing a character, the bottom image is my attempt to recreate poses I saw in a magazine and break them down into shapes. Thinking of a body broken down into seperate shapes helped me to draw a lot quicker and will try this technique when developing the characters further.
