Rackham has produced illustrations that are based on his understanding of the natural world, taking in shapes and forms that exist and Incorporated this to create various designs for creatures and landscapes.
The illustrations were sometimes for famous stories such as Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan
He also uses a simplistic style so that his illustrations appear soft and innocent but very detailed when the line work is introduced. This allowed Rackham's vision of the worlds appear busy and full of life.
I'm sorry, but his name was Arthur Rackham, not Rackman.
