In this desk I was given the complete scene so I had to create three layers the Beauty Pass, Ambient Occlusion & Z Depth. Changing the settings allowed me to gain the various black and white layers, I batched rendered them and placed them into photoshop where I combined them. Finally I used a blur filter, these settings allowed me to only blur the background so objects and desk remain in focus.
