More Character sketches for Jacob Scrimshaw

I took Phil's advice and looked at the 'How to Draw Cartoons PDF to learn how to build up the characters so that they have structure. Using the successes in the previous developments for the design of the head and general look. I felt the top left drawing was the one I would work off from and take further.

I used tracing paper so that I would have four identical structures and I subtley changed a few things in each design such as hair style, size of features and shape of shoes. I feel the top right and bottom left drawings are stronger because of the sharp spikey shape of the hair gives overall look a classical villian feel.

  1. Hey Adam! I'm sorry It's been ages since I last left a comment, I've been a bit consumed with trying to get my work done, sorry :(
But! I'm here now and I think your story looks really fun! I also really like how manic the drawings of your character look, it really fits well with his personality and frustration. Also! I love the personification of the beluga whale, that looks like it'll be a lot of fun to watch :D
