I decided to begin a creature concept using the theme of insects. I used a collection of references to inspire me with shapes and merging different species together and using the same drawing technique as the summer project where I sketched the basic shapes in pencil and then defined the idea in biro. I will use these ideas as a starting point to develop in photoshop as silhouttes and try take shapes and forms further before finally producing a fully resolved creature concept.
