Anatomical Studies for African Hoopoe

Before designing the character I wanted to get a further understanding of the creature in general in terms of skeleton and behavior so I have produced a series of sketches to understand the basic bird skeleton and the Hoopoe itself when in flight and closer detail on it's head frill, etc. I will refer to this during the designing stage and may produce more if I struggle with some of the anatomy.
