Research from a book part 1

I found a book in the library titled Anatomy and Perspective by Charles Oliver and found a small selection of images that could help me understand the form of the human anatomy and ways to draw it/shade it in different positions.

I like the diagram of where light hits an object to cast a shadow and how the skecth of the model is in an usual position with her knees bent and foot slighlty raised. I will use this information when thinking of ideas and in my life drawing classes.

  1. Great to see you hitting the books, Adam - the ability to 'self-medicate' and seek out answers to your own problems is absolutely key to long term success.
