Also over the summer I hope to improve drawing and concept painting skills as this is what prevents me to carry my vision across an entire project so to strengthen these art skills I have created a separate summer project label to show how they are developing and because they not related to the project.
So far I have used a small sketch book and tried to produce a series of observational drawings in pencil and pens based on things I have seen at home and on holiday. I have restricted myself with quick time limits and using fewer lines to become more confident and not spend too long on a drawing as this was the main problem with the idea stages on previous projects.
